Dear Esteemed customers
In accordance with the Official Notice of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), dated on 4th of April 2011, KCCI will strictly control issuing Certificate of Origin (C/O) for the goods which imported from other countries (hereinafter “Re-export goods).
This decision was made by the request of Korea Customs Service because the C/O forgery has been increased. KCCI gave 3 months grace periods and from 1st of Aug., all Korean companies have to submit evidence documents for issuing C/O for Re-export goods.
During this period we discussed with our suppliers and obtained the necessary documents as many as we could. But for some brands we cannot get it due to some reasons.
As a result of our efforts we can issue C/O for Korea Origin goods and for most of Re-export goods as before.
But we cannot issue C/O for some brands such as BOSCH, KOYO, INA, NSK, NTN, etc and some Chinese brands such as GMP, HIT, CW, etc.
WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS DURING CUSTOMS CLEARANCE IN CASE OF YOU DON’T HAVE C/O FOR SOME RE-EXPORT GOODS.
If you would expect problems please inform us of what kind of problems and possible solutions till 31st of July. Otherwise we will acknowledge it to be accepted by you and provide C/O only for Korean Origin goods and for most of Re-export goods which we can issue legally.
